Dress code

GENERAL
Clothes and shoes are clean and frays and holes must be mended.
Dancers may not wear loose-fitting clothing, pants, or ankle warmers. It must be possible to see the function of the muscles and the placement of the body.

WATER BOTTLES
Bring a small easy to store bottle (under 1 liter). Only water is allowed in the studio. No lemonade or other drinks, to protect the floor. Large bottles are not permitted.

SAFETY
Large earrings, loose jewelry, long (false) nails or pointed nails are not suitable for ballet for safety reasons.

GIRLS: Classic Tank Leotard by Wear Moi Color Black and white waist elastic
● Pink ballet tights with feet
● Pink ballet shoes in the same color as your tights, (no leather).
● Hair pulled back from the face and secured firmly with hair pins and a hair net in a bun. Bun help
● White towel
● No undergarments should be worn under leotards and tights.
● Optional: Girl Dance Wrap-over Top by Wear Moi Color: Black.

BOYS: Tight ballet-shirt in white.
● Black ballet legging (dancebelt is mandatory from age 11).
● White socks.
● White canvas balletshoes.
● White towel.
● Long hair must be pinned up or tied back with a band, and kept out of the face.

● Hair pulled back from the face and secured firmly with hair pins and a hair net in a bun. Bun help
● White towel
● No undergarments should be worn under leotards and tights.
● Optional: Woman Dance Wrap-Over Top by Wear Moi Color: Black.

MEN: White fitted short sleeve Ballet T-shirt
● Black ballet legging and dancebelt
● White socks.
● White canvas balletshoes.
● White towel.
● Long hair pinned up or tied back with a band, and kept out of the face.

WOMEN: Leotard of choice, no fluorescent colors or busy prints
Pointe Class: for a pointe class, you’ll need a black ballet skirt with a maximum length of mid-thigh. For the Sundayclass, you’ll need a black rehearsal tutu, available at: AliExpress or the Carlotta tutu at Danswinkel.nl or Sansha.
