GENERAL POLICY
Read our policy before making payment. By making your payment to the balletschool, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set in this policy under Dutch law. If you do not agree with our policy please do not registrate with Studio Simoncini.

1.1
ENROLMENT
Registration is by invitation after a trialclass and interview. It is not possible to register online I.e. long-distance sales and purchases not available.

1.2
LOCATION CLASSES
Studio Membership: your registration and payment are for classes in the studio as well as classes online (see section 5)
Virtual Membership: you register for classes online only.

1.3
REGULAR BALLET – CANCELLING A MEMBERSHIP
Payment for Regular Ballet is in five terms or all at once for the complete school year. If you make payment in terms, it is possible to cancel your membership before the next payment date, cancellation is only possible by email, you will receive a confirmation.

Payment before: 21 Oct.
Terminate membership before: 21 Oct.

3rd term 1 Jan. till 28 Febr.
Payment before: 21 Dec.
Terminate membership before: 21 Dec.

4th term 1 March till 30 April
Payment before: 21 Febr.
Terminate membership before: 21 Febr.

5th term 1 May till *approx 10 July
Payment before: 21 April
Terminate membership before: 21 April

*depending on the official school holidays determined by the government

JUNIOR BALLET – CANCELLING A MEMBERSHIP
Payment for Junior Ballet is once a year for one school year. Cancelling a junior membership is possible by simply not registering for the new school year.

1.5
REFUND
It is the policy of the school that all tuition and other fees paid shall not be refunded at any time, regardless of the time or reason of cancellation.

NEW SCHOOL YEAR – PRIORITY PRE SALE
To secure a place for the next school year, simply make your payment when Priority Pre-Sale starts.

COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE
Studio Simoncini attaches great value to a pleasant, professional learning and working environment and does everything it can to guarantee this. However, occasionally something can go wrong in a class or in the organization of the balletschool.
Teaching ballet is human work and people can make mistakes. If you think that we are falling short or that we do not keep to our agreements, we would like to hear from you. You can call us at any time or send us an email.
We will contact you to make an appointment and talk so we can learn from your experience and find a solution.

PAYMENT
Students or parents are held responsible for making the next payment correct and on time. You will not receive an invoice or bill unless the payment is overdue. There will be administrative costs for each invoice the school has to send.

2.1
BANK
If you make your payment by Bank, ALWAYS mention first- and last name of the student and time and day of balletclass.
If you do not complete all information, the balletschool will not be able to process the payment.

2.2
CASH
Cash payment is not possible.
Payment through a Payment Request costs 0.75 per transaction and is only possible if you have a Dutch bankaccount.

2.3
INCORRECT PAYMENT
When making an incorrect payment all costs including administration fees and transaction costs will be charged.

2.4
PAYMENT OVERDUE
It is not possible to take balletclasses without complete payment. When a payment is overdue – or when you made a payment by Bank but did not complete all information, you will receive an invoice. There will be administrative costs for sending an invoice.

HOLIDAY or SICKNESS
There is a continuation of payment as long as the student is subscribed to the balletschool – this includes holidays, injury or sickness of the student or any other reason for missing classes. Payment includes school holidays.

THE SCHOOL
We value discipline and concentration therefor, ballet-students as well as non-participating children are not allowed to make noise or to run in the school. Treat the school and its contents with respect. Keep Toilet and Shower clean. After use, turn off the lights.

3.1
STUDIO
It is not allowed to open or close the window in the studio. Food and drinks, other than water, are not allowed in the studio. Clean up water bottles, do not leave them behind.

3.2
PARTICIPATION
Students may not enter class late or leave class early.

3.3
ENTERING the SCHOOL
It is not allowed to open the door of the school or to let an unidentified person come inside the building together with you. Anybody who wants to enter the school will have to ring the doorbell.
The teacher will let people in the school.

DRESSCODE and HAIR

3.5
MISSING YOUR CLASS
Please notify the school by phone or e-mail, when you will be absent. There are no catch up classes if you are going to miss your class.

3.6
LOST and FOUND
Items that are disposed of immediately because they are not sanitary include: personal hygiene items such as hair clips, hair brushes, make-up, hair products, undergarments, socks and clothing of a personal nature. Items such as clean towels and water bottles are kept for eight days. Small valuable lost items such as cell phones or jewelry are kept for one month.

LIABILITY
Students wanting to take balletclasses, workshops, pointe technique or any other activities online or in the studio may do so at their own risk. Responsibility for allowing children to take balletclasses, workshops, pointe technique or any other activities online or in the studio lies with the parents or guardian.

4.1
RISKS
We emphasize that participation in ballet and all forms of dance and activities could involve possible personal injury. Despite precautions, accidents and injuries may occur.

4.2
MEDICAL CONDITIONS and PREGNANCY
We emphasize that there are more risks for participants with a medical condition, pregnancy and / or injury. The school’s advice in the above situations is that you do not participate in dance classes until you have received professional medical advice. Visit your doctor or medical specialist for advice.

4.3
INJURY
Studio Simoncini is not responsible or liable for any damage, accident or injury when entering the building or as a result of participation in activities, classes online or in the studio.

4.4
SUPERVISION and CHILDREN
The school is not responsible for before or after class care of students. Parents or caretakers are expected to supervise their children until the teacher begins class and to pick them up promptly at the end of class.

4.5
VALUABLE BELONGINS
Do not bring any valuables to the school. The school is not liable for theft or loss of personal belongings. The school is not liable for damage or destruction of personal belongings.

SAFETY CONSIDERATIONS and FORCE MAJEURE
When an emergency ordinance is issued for any reason whatsoever and in case of force majeure, with the result that the school cannot teach balletclasses in the studio, classes are taught online if possible.

5.1
In accordance with the advice of the National Government and to limit health risks, the ballet school might decide on short notice to teach classes online when the teacher has a cold or other mild symptoms, reminiscent of COVID-19.

PHOTOGRAPHS or VIDEOS
Students, Parents or visitors are not permitted to take photographs of, or film, their children, other students or teachers during classes online or in the studio.

6.1
MOBILE PHONES
The use of cameras, filming equipment or mobile phones is not allowed in toilets or dressingroom. Mobile phones must be switched off when entering the dressingroom.

6.2
VISUAL CONTENT for PUBLICITY
The school might take pictures or videos during class for publicity purposes.
